Assisted in daily treatments, x-rays and ultrasound examinations, reproduction management for equine, and observed surgical procedures. Also went on pig barn visits for necropsy and inspection.

A 4-month practicum experience at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institue. Shadowed under veterinarians and worked with vet technicians and performed animal rounds (species include mice, rats, dogs, fish, pigs, rabbits, sheep, NHP), monitored animal conditions and provided treatments when needed. Observed surgical procedures and performed anesthetic monitoring. Other duties include cage changing, quality assurance, and animal ordering.
