After more than 37 years of dedicated service in the veterinary field, I retired from my role as the Medical Director at Vets Pets, a network of animal hospitals and wellness centers in North Carolina. In this position, I oversaw the medical operations, quality standards, and staff development of 20+ locations, serving thousands of pets and their owners every year. I also contributed to the mission of Vets Pets to provide affordable, accessible, and compassionate care for all animals, regardless of their circumstances. I leveraged my skills and expertise in veterinary medicine, animal welfare, science education, and leadership to ensure the highest level of clinical excellence, customer satisfaction, and team collaboration. Prior to joining Vets Pets, I worked as an Associate Veterinarian at South Ridge Veterinary Hospital, where I gained valuable experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal conditions, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners.
