As a Patient Care Assistant, I am responsible for a variety of different jobs. I help restrain patients for diagnostics and procedures, I prepare diagnostics to be sent to an outside lab, I run in house blood-work, I make informational packets to be sent home with clients, I feed/water/and bath patients, I assist technicians with taking radiographs of patients, and I keep a clean and organized work environment. I am also currently getting trained on how to recover patients after surgery.
