About
I am a student studying Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Public Health with aspirations to attend Physician Assistant school. My background growing up in a rural area, as well as my interests in human physiology and social connection have informed my passion to provide healthcare at the highest quality to rural areas that are frequently underserved. I have been able to refine my skills in the healthcare context via my experience working as a Healthcare Tech in the float-pool at Carle Foundation Hospital, a Level I Trauma Hospital, in which I work on a variety of units including the ICU, CVICU, Neurology, Orthopedic & Trauma, Pediatrics, and Medical/Surgical floors. Additionally, I have the privilege of being a Clinic Manager at Avicenna Community Health Center, where I am able to engage in meaningful connections by providing free healthcare to uninsured and underinsured community members.
