Ever heard of the nickelodeon? This musical machine harnesses the melodies of multiple instruments to play a single song. With one scrolling composition of sheet music, the nickelodeon can play a saxophone, piano, or drums.The nickelodeon is a helpful illustration for how I envision successful lifecycle marketing: rather than relying solely on one communication channel to lead a marketing strategy, it takes many channels (many instruments, if you will) working together to create a captivating, compelling melody. It takes time, intentional placement, and incoming feedback to architect a consumer-centric marketing campaign—and I am in the business of getting your song stuck in their head.
