I chose physical medicine and rehabilitation as a result of my interest in neurology and orthopedic medicine along with my lifelong passion for sports. Because my brother is a paraplegic, specializing in spine medicine was a natural fit for me. By applying the knowledge and skills I have gained through training and years of experience, I’m able to provide expert care and provide proven non-surgical solutions in treatment. My job as a physician is to listen carefully to my patients, deliver advanced, quality care and educate patients on health issues. Education is an important part of the healing process because patients are less fearful when they understand what is happening in their bodies. By taking the time to explain the problems my patients face and carefully reviewing treatment options with them, I ease their fears and increase compliance.
