About

As a veterinary assistant at Salem Veterinary Hospital for over six years, I have developed a wide range of competencies in the veterinary industry. I am cross trained in all fields of the hospital, including administration, surgical assisting, lab work, and pharmacology. I am skilled in animal restraint, customer relationship management, client education, and animal nutrition. In December 2023 upon returning from maternity leave, I was promoted to Practice Manager. I have also gained extensive training in customer service, retail merchandising, and social media marketing from my previous experience as a sales associate at Harley-Davidson Motor Company for seven and a half years. My passion is working with animals and helping them heal and thrive. My dream job would be working in wildlife rehabilitation and/or with exotics. I am always willing to try something new if the right opportunity arises.
