Steve joined Pelion in 2020. Steve’s responsibilities include management company oversight, the fund’s financial reports and audits, valuation analysis of portfolio companies, investment allocations and distributions, and limited partner communication. Prior to Pelion, Steve was an Associate Dean and K . Fred Skousen Distinguished Professor at the BYU Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. Steve has served on the U.S. Auditing Standards Board and as President of the Auditing Section of the American Accounting Association(AAA). He worked as an auditor for KPMG and later as a director in the U.S. National Office of PwC, and he regularly consults with large network public accounting firms. Steve has published numerous articles, books, and monographs.
