I graduated from American University in 1988 with degrees in both International Service and Spanish/Latin American Studies. These days I translate between species and help the public understand the language of veterinarians. I have an Associate's Degree in Animal Science from Cedar Valley College - DEVTP 2005 and am a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Virginia. I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant and then as a Licensed Veterinary Technician with VCA since 1992. Always learning and growing, I manage VCA Healthy Paws in Haymarket, VA since 2012. With a special interest in Behavior, I have shown and trained dogs and their people, for over 30 years. United States Temperament Testing Association (USTTA) - Temperament Judge Since 2005 and I was also a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) from the American Pet Dog Training Association 2005.
