Starting at Hartrick Veterinary Clinic in Royal Oak, MI, I was an associate veterinarian in a three-doctor small animal practice. As an experienced veterinarian, I took on many medical cases as well as a large surgical load. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was the only resident doctor to stay in hospital and was promoted to temporary Medical Lead Veterinarian. Alongside the practice manager, we implemented rapidly changing protocols and policies, efficient curb side service, and participated on conference calls bi-weekly. Because of my performance at Hartrick Veterinary Clinic, I was promoted to Medical Lead Veterinarian and transferred to Abbey East Animal Hospital in Warren, MI.
