I recently wrote an essay of '25 Things' that would allow a complete stranger to decide if I was the kind of person they'd like to work with closely. Here are a few of my favorites: 🌍 French speaking Africans think I’m British. I re-learned French to deploy to West Africa. I try hard to have great pronunciation, especially with names. 👨‍🍼 Leaving one’s country to provide for one’s family is unfathomably courageous. My son, Salvatore, is named after the man who brought our family to the US at just 15 years old 🛒 My mom taught me to be the kind of person that says hello to people in line at the grocery store - that openness and curiosity has continued to benefit me in every part of my life ⛳ When I found out I was going to be a girl dad, my perspectives on sports changed dramatically.
