Ryan Lehr didn’t take a straight path into advertising - he took the scenic route. He moved to LA to attend Art Center, then bounced around Hollywood wrangling comics at The Comedy Store and fetching Ryan Reynolds coffee, and eventually wandered into his first agency interview at TBWA\Chiat\Day… for a receptionist gig. Surrounded by scooters, dogs, and a full-length basketball court, he knew he’d found his place. Over the next two decades, Ryan has built a career in the LA ad scene, rising from answering phones to becoming Co-Chief Creative Officer of Deutsch LA. Early on at Chiat he bonded over late-night foosball with the group that went on to found Omelet - where Ryan became the 4th employee and helped grow the shop from a scrappy start-up into one of LA’s top independents.
