E-Retail Consultant ►Multi-Channel Executive ♦ Core Strategy Development ♦ B2b & B2c ♦
Riithink Digital Marketing · Chapel Hill, NC
I have consulted and developed core-e-strategy and web infrastructure for a variety of major B2C and B2B2C markets. For example, I consulted on strategies to transition Walmart.ca from a content website to an e-commerce webstore. Additionally, I consulted, developed and launched an in-store/drop-ship pilot program with The Gap Inc., using prototype web kiosks in a 15-store test market. I restructured a multi-channel business doing more than $20M in B2B/B2C catalog, print, and e-Retail and mass market retailers, challenged by three years of declining annualized revenue and heavy competition. The marketplace relationships created or strengthened through these consulting opportunities have provided new value for other clients seeking B2C and B2B growth and networking. I have core competencies in the key success levers and tools in eRetail to include but not limited to: - Google, Coremetrics, and Ominture - Demand Generation - Digital, Social, Tube, Broadcast, Print, Gorilla, POD, iBehavio…

We Introduced PPC and SEO for the first time in our companies by establishing bottom up management with top down relationships and over achieved our sales plan by $7 million, coming in at $24 million in the U.S. market and below budget for spend.
Director of Ecommerce ►Corporate Culture Transformation ♦ Successful Integration
Ameriwood Industries, a Dorel division, produces ready-to-assemble furniture manufactured and packaged as component parts and assembled by the consumer. RTA furniture, by its nature, is a reasonably priced alternative to traditional wooden furniture and as such is sold mainly to mass merchants, office superstores and hardware/home centers. As director of eCommerce, I was responsible for $0 to $5M+ in eCommerce growth in one year with the highest EBITDA in Dorel history (70%+) I was successful in building high performing cross-functional teams in a very complex corporate culture, where each company and brand was operating in a silo. These teams were derived to urgently execute our strategy covering IT, technology consolidation, shipping, finance, customer service, marketing, new product development, and sales. I also integrated a centralized web platform with all companies thus allowing brand control to the product level, and executed a stack-ranked multi-channel eCommerce sales strateg…
