Present

As office/practice manager of Dixie Animal Hospital, I have scaled down my responsibilities as Laboratory Supervisor and expanded into a role of full-on Practice Manager. The new role invites me to manage duties including preparing and submitting payroll, inventory control and ordering, communication with representatives of various veterinary medicine companies, communication with clients, managing accounts payable and account receivable, and supervising a five person staff of receptionists. I've also taken on the typical responsibilities of a receptionist including receiving phone calls and booking appointments, applying charges to accounts, receiving payment for charges, maintaining proper filing of records, and preparing examination rooms for patients. I still provide assistance to some of the administrative laboratory tasks that the doctors need accomplished. I also still maintain my skills within the laboratory as a technician during high peak periods of work.

As laboratory supervisor of Dixie Animal Hospital I work as right-hand man to Dr.'s C. Tom Rainey and Michael Pegelow. I establish, implement, and regulate task-work and rules throughout the hospital as well as maintain the website and social media platforms associated with the business.Outside of these supervisory tasks, I keep up with my regular technician duties including, but not limited to, supervising surgeries, pulling blood, running various blood works, collecting medical information pertaining to patients, and working with the doctors to provide care to patients.

As a kennel and technician employee of Dixie Animal Hospital, my duties included, but were not limited to, kennel maintenance and care, assisting in surgery, pulling blood, running various blood work, collecting medical information pertaining to patients, record management, and working with the doctors to provide care to patients.

Crossfit L-1 Trainer

As a CrossFit L-1 Trainer at CrossFit MIA I am responsible for educating clients on fitness and proper mechanics of movements, as well as manage fitness classes and teach the fundamentals of CrossFit. Some of the movement mechanics that I teach include, but are not limited to: cleans, presses, squats, deadlifts, snatch, and gymnastic-style movements.
