A legal practitioner with a bias for public interest law and litigation. I have consummate experience in Civil, Commercial and Criminal Litigation. I have successfully conducted over 200 trials before Courts of record, including the Supreme Court of Nigeria. I possess cognitive knowledge of civic engagements and peerless expertise in Human Rights and Constitutional issues. I have a passion for deepening citizens’ engagement and social accountability. My forte is in my effective communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity. With all pleasure, I rendered pro bono legal services to the indigent. I leverage my skills, experience and contacts to promote peace, Inclusiveness, and access to justice, building effective and accountable public Institutions. Raised funds from various philanthropic sources to support two projects; the Police Duty Solicitors Scheme (PDSS) and the Court Duty Solicitors Scheme (CDSS) that secured the release of 312 pretrial detainees. Rendered pro bono bespoke legal advisory services to start-ups and SMEs to help grow their businesses, scale regulatory compliances and resolve disputes. Led a team of 139 Volunteer counsels to implement the litigation strategy for pre-trial detainees (Awaiting Trial) and concluded 116 cases in 5 appearances. Engaged the Nigerian Correctional Service amongst other government agencies in public interest litigation. Partnered with the Nigerian Bar Association and Lagos Judiciary in advocacy for protecting human rights and access to justice.
