Founded a philanthropic organization dedicated to bringing musical healing to underserved communities by collecting and redistributing musical instruments. I train volunteers and partner with seven Bay Area nonprofits, including ARTogether, the Asian Women’s Shelter, and Saint Mary’s Center. After donating instruments, we host “jam sessions” at these partner sites to promote emotional well-being. I also manage outreach and promotion across our website and social media platforms like Instagram, Nextdoor, and Facebook. Our work has been recognized by the Moraga Town Council for its positive community impact.
Lead Intern
• Trained and led 300+ high school volunteers in delivering science demonstrations to the public • Built hands-on exhibits for the museum to teach science in engaging, accessible ways • Founded AstroChats, a live series where interns give talks on the latest astronomy discoveries to museum visitors
Member of Engineering Research Team
• Designed and built a C-class Stage 1 model rocket through iterative prototyping and collaborative engineering • Invited to launch the rocket at Astra's launch site
Head of Astronomy Research Team
• Tracked an unidentified exoplanet (now TIC-139270665b) through a research partnership with the SETI Institute, using eVscopes to generate light curves and analyze its orbital period • Findings published in The Astronomical Journal and featured in Sky & Telescope magazine
