Together with Andreas Zieringer and Osman Dumbuya started Phase III of VRED Development and Sales: Company bootstrapped (no external capital) - multiple offices (Darmstadt/Berlin) - growth to ~20 employees - extended customer base from engineering to design and marketing, photography - customers: automotive OEMs (1st and 2nd tier), photographers, CGI agencies, whitegood industry, tool industry, research institutes (commercial and non-commercial) - customers in germany, europe, south east asia, japan - domestic and foreign resellers - own exhibitions (2011/2012) and own booth at SIGGRAPH (2012) Ultimately culminated in the sale of the company to marketleader Autodesk in 2012/2013 - in the aftermath Autodesk replaced two of its own solutions (Showcase and Opticore) and Autodesk VRED gained defacto industry standard. 12 years later still going strong and still very proud of the team.
