Ceo

CheMondis is the leading B2B online marketplace for chemicals in Europe.

Consultant

Turo · Berlin, Germany

Like so many other travel and mobility offerings, Turo was hit by the Corona pandemic and forced to execute global lay-offs and cut-backs in Q2/2020, including the closure of the German business. I continue to be an advisor to Turo.

Managing Director, Germany

Turo · Berlin Area, Germany

Turo is the world’s largest online marketplace for private car sharing. Often referred to as “the Airbnb for cars”, Turo empowers car owners to offset the cost of car ownership by sharing it with others when they don’t need it. Turo’s mission is to put the world’s 1.5 billion cars to better use. I lead Turo’s Germany launch in January 2018 and the German team based in Berlin. During 2019, we grew the German business in terms of numbers of cars, number of trips and revenue by more than 7X.

Managing Director, Germany

In October 2013, iversity launched with a curriculum of 2 dozen online courses and 120.000 students/users. Since then, iversity has grown the user base to more than 1 million students. iversity was acquired by SpringerNature in Q3/2016.
