Research Intern
Present
As a student researcher with ThinkNeuro, I co-authored a bibliometric analysis on the integration of artificial intelligence in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders. Our work, based on a review of 500+ articles and citation trends from 2019–2023, identified key gaps in mental health applications of DBS and proposed future AI-driven directions. I also continue to support ThinkNeuro’s ongoing initiative focused on developing a digital intervention platform to aid opioid addiction recovery, helping design tools that provide educational content, milestone tracking, and access to mental health resources for unhoused and uninsured communities.

Robotics Teaching Assistant
Academia Europea El Salvador · San Miguel, El Salvador
(2024): I traveled to El Salvador to teach young minds from grades 4-6 about STEM with the intuition to inspire them to pursued a career in a STEM related field. STEM, especially robotics, is my passion and seeing young kids In El Salvador think that they can not accomplish anything greater then a farmer, brakes my soul, so I’ve taken the matter into my own hands and decided to give back to the community that I love and hopefully have an impact. By using robotic kits I was able to captivate the imagination of my students and make it user friendly. Gizmo labs made it possible for me to introduce new material to a large number of kids at once. The presentations I prepared showed all the great fields that STEM has to offer and all the benefits that come along with them. (2025): This summer I expanded on the summer course curriculum from last year. We added a 4 week course, into to coding. The course was a modified version of Harvards CS50 class designed for 10th-12th grades.
