I had the opportunity to work under Dr. Brisco, who specializes in children's vision, vision therapy, and homeopathic medicine to name a few. My main projects included webpage, logo, and business card design. When I was not working on my assigned projects, I handled day-to-day clerical work such as phone calls, scheduling, and patient check-ins at the front desk. I was also responsible for data management such as invoice accounting, billing, sales, and inventory. Dr. Brisco would often invite interns and staff to company training events, those of which involved training in customer service, internal marketing, efficiency, and streamlining. Through these trainings, I learned creative ways to promote a medical practice, increase patient retention, and streamline daily operations in order to increase efficiency.
