I am currently a small animal rotating intern at VCA Aurora Animal Hospital in Aurora, Illinois. Before veterinary school, I attended the University of Maine, where I earned my BSc in Animal & Veterinary Sciences with a minor in Zoology. I graduated with commendation from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in June 2024. My primary career interests include emergency and exotic companion animal medicine, as well as wildlife and conservation medicine. I aspire to become an ABVP diplomate and participate in international conservation projects while maintaining a career in small animal medicine. Studying veterinary medicine in Scotland has taken me to many places around the world. A career highlight was assisting with mass rhino dehorning and surveillance operations in Sabi Sands Game Reserve adjacent to Kruger National Park in South Africa.
