Confident and experienced small animal veterinarian, with demonstrated skills in soft tissue surgery, diagnostic ultrasound, internal medicine, and complex case management and client education. Particular interest in creative problem solving. I have also had the opportunity to serve in a mentorship role to pre-veterinary and veterinary students and guest lecture for veterinary assistant courses as well as an undergraduate class in Animal Sciences. Client education, in terms of helping pet parents to understand diagnostic and treatment goals in understandable and relatable terms, is always of paramount importance in a clinical setting, and an aspect that I excel at. I am an active participant in distance running events nationwide, and serve in the role of president of a vintage British car club, developing and leading monthly meetings and contributing a monthly column to our newsletter.
