About
I grew up in Massachusetts in a rural community and moved down to the DC area in 2011. I have worked in several different fields before and after I moved. I have worked in retail as an assistant manage. My last jobs in Massachusetts were as Office Manager for two seperate companies. The first company was Elite Construction & Design. The second company was Top Notch Plumbing and Heating. I enjoyed working in both offices and enjoyed the challange of keeping the office running while continuing to grow my skills and abilities. Since I have moved down to DC I have been working for a company called Capital Digestive Care. I am working in Accounts Payable. I am now working as a customer advocate and being cross-trained at a local Veterinarian office. I started as a Client Service Coordinator, cross trained as a Veterinary Assistant and was promoted to Shift Lead. I have since been promoted to my own hospital as Practice Manager. I work with clients to ensure understanding and compliance with quality care for their pets. I work with associates within our practice to make sure that they are up to date on current concerns, software and client service. I also have been given several stretch assignments so that I can continue to pursue my current career goal of being a Practice Manager with Banfield Pet Hospital.
