My time in South Africa consisted of following troops of Samango Monkeys in the Soutpansberg Mountains to collect data on the natural behaviors and calls of the monkeys. Our group focused on the pattern of calls and the events that lead up to certain sounds. We also did focal follows on specific monkeys and observed their typical behaviors throughout the day.
