Kathleen Hartman, MS, DVM, PhD, is a staff veterinarian with Kennebec River Biosciences (KRB); a U.S. based company providing diagnostic and inspection services, and vaccines to commercial aquaculture production companies around the world and conservation/restoration facilities in the U.S. Kathleen was a senior staff veterinary medical officer with USDA APHIS Veterinary Services Aquatic Animal Health Commodity Center for over 22 years. She received a master’s from the University of Maryland, College Park (fish nutrition) and both a DVM and PhD (aquatic animal pharmacokinetics) from Virginia Tech. In 2018, Kathleen earned her certificate in public leadership from Brookings Institution and Washington University Olin Business School.
