Jens is the Founding Partner of Angel Invest, Europe’s most active super angel fund. Angel Invest makes more than one investment per week. The Angel Invest portfolio of 200+ companies has a market cap of several Billion Euros. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Techstars, where he launched the German fund that invested in 40 companies that have raised €250m+ in funding. Before Techstars, Jens was a partner at Forward Labs (now Forward Partners), which he co-founded in 2012. Forward Labs launched a new product per month using lean startup principles. Forward Partners listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2021 and was acquired by Molten Ventures in 2023. Before Forward Labs, Jens co-founded and was CEO of aiHit, a VC-backed provider of automated company data to the business information industry. aiHit was acquired in 2015.
