I attended Morehead State University where I earned a BS degree in Biology and an MS in animal physiology. I then went on to earn a doctorate in veterinary medicine at Auburn School of Veterinary medicine. I moved to Huntington, WV directly after graduation and joined an existing practice as an associate veterinarian. Within 3 years I purchased the practice and owned it for 24 years. I sold the practice and began working as a relief veterinarian for local veterinarians as needed. This spring will be 35 years as a practicing veterinarian in Huntington.
