The South Saunders location began offering 24-hour emergency veterinary service in 2022.

Worked as a privately contracted public health veterinarian in the North Carolina Division of Public, with primary duties being general surveillance of vector-borne and zoonotic diseases, as well as on-call support for county health departments. Brought back as a one-year contract employee due to urgent need after employee attrition.
Research Epidemiologist
Performed the duties of contract researcher in epidemiology. Main duties were to write grant proposals, perform primary epidemiology research related to public health surveillance, collect and analyze data, and publish the results.
Veterinary Epidemiologist

Consulting Speaker
Gave lectures on current leptospirosis research to groups of practicing veterinarians throughout the country, including Hawaii, for Fort Dodge Animal Health.
Emergency and General Practice Veterinarian
Worked as a veterinarian in a 24-hour general practice/emergency/referral clinic. Initially saw clients and patients, made diagnoses, prescribed treatment, performed minor surgical procedures, and often referred to specialists. Duties also included supervising the clinic during overnight shifts.
