About
I run PSL | Packaging Strategy Lab — an independent packaging strategy consultancy based in Germany, working across Europe and internationally. I help brand owners turn regulatory pressure into portfolio advantage. That means PPWR compliance, and packaging strategies that are commercially defensible, structurally sound, and built to scale. Before PSL, I spent 11 years at Procter & Gamble in packaging development - where I learned that good packaging strategy sits at the intersection of regulation, engineering, and commercial reality — not in a sustainability silo. If your packaging team is navigating PPWR, recycled content targets, or portfolio complexity — let's talk.

PSL | Packaging Strategy Lab · Berlin, Berlin, Germany
Present
PSL is an independent packaging strategy consultancy that works with European brand owners on packaging strategy, regulatory readiness, and structural design. We translate regulatory complexity — PPWR, EPR, recycled content, PFAS — into clear portfolio strategy, then stay through development to help clients build it. Core work: portfolio audits, regulatory gap analysis, 3-horizon roadmaps, design guidelines, specification development.

SWI | SPARKS.WITH.IMPACT · Berlin, Berlin, Germany
Present
SWI invests in early-stage ventures across packaging, cosmetics, and food & beverage — sectors where sustainability and commercial viability must be designed in from day one. I bring packaging strategy, regulatory insight, and go-to-market perspective to the ventures I back.
R&D Packaging Development
Procter & Gamble · Schwalbach am Taunus, Germany | Beijing, China
11 years in packaging development, innovation, and strategy across multiple categories — hair care (Aussie, Herbal Essences), baby care (Pampers), feminine care (Always, Alldays), and fabric & home care (Tide). Based at P&G's German Innovation Centre (Schwalbach) and Beijing Innovation Centre. Led packaging innovation projects and contributed to business packaging strategy alongside hands-on development work: structural design, material specification, supplier qualification, and production scale-up. This is where I learned that packaging decisions are never just technical — they sit at the intersection of cost, compliance, consumer experience, and supply chain reality. That cross-category, cross-market perspective — from strategy through to production.
