During this externship I performed rectal palpations on cows as well as ultrasounded to check for pregnancies. I dehorned, placed CIDRs, and tubed cattle. I also vaccinated horses, cattle, goats, and pigs and administered medications. I became more proficient performing physical exams on cattle, horses, pigs and goats. I also did some equine dental work including floating and tooth extractions.

During this externship I assisted with pyloro-omentopexies, performed rectal palpations on cows, drew blood and administered medications from dogs and cows, and I helped balance dairy cow rations and test feeds. I gained a lot of experience working with different clients.
