The Mitsui Chemicals Asia Pacific Corporate & Marketing Communication (CMC) function resides in the Corporate Planning Office (CPO), where we act as the communication bridge between government bodies and statutory boards with the corresponding divisions for strategic partnerships. Being the sole professional in CMC, I provide full suite of corporate communication support such as media relations, collateral design & production, internal communication platforms management, and crisis communication for the group of companies in Singapore. In addition, I offer my expertise on marketing communication to the Sales & Marketing teams for strategic marketing needs. Globally, I work closely with Japan HQ's Corporate Communication Division on global corporate branding topics, digital content marketing, and social media management. Joined the company to single-handedly setup the function and close-up the critical gaps for corporate communication and corporate social responsibilities for six affiliates in Singapore. Created a quarterly staff newsletter to keep local staff updated. This newsletter has now expanded its circulation to all Mitsui Chemicals Group Asia Pacific affiliates.
