As a private business angel, I served as the deputy chairman of the supervisory board of the startup Crisp Research for five years. Crisp developed to the leading research and advisory firm for cloud computing and digital business and was acquired by private equity company Deutsche Beteiligungs AG in 2019. The deal was financed by BlackRock as a lender. Combined with one of the best software development providers in Europe (Catalysts) it is now part of the Cloudflight Group which was acquired by Partners Group in 2022 for 400 Mio Euro.
