And symptoms started to show early... • In primary school, I started my first little side hustle to beef up my pocket money. • In high school, I ran a trading platform for console games and a school newspaper. • At university, I founded the first student entrepreneurship club that connected students from the technical and business universities. • During that time, I also made my first angel investment into a club member’s startup. • I wrote my Master’s thesis on startup HR in Denmark • I then joined an e-commerce research center to develop an algorithm for a travel platform (side effect: earning my academic doctorate). • Then I strategically chose to join the corporate world in sales to learn this important entrepreneurial core competence. Developed new products for Itella (the IT&Services Division of Posti - Finland Post Corporation) for the German market. Launched "Private Postal Service Distribution" to our customer base through our sales teams in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich. Also involved in special projects with headquarters in Helsinki.

Joined the company with a two-year stint in mind, in order to learn and practice professional sales, so I could use this core competence for the entrepreneurial career I planned for myself afterwards. Developed a novel sales methodology that made me the #1 new customer sales representative in Germany. My methodology enabled me to charge higher prices while lowering clients' total cost and thus undercutting our competititors. Won clients like Homeshopping Europe, Knorr Bremse, Uponor, Reca Norm. Rolled out my sales methodology to our sales teams across Germany with management support from Germany and the new owners (Finland Post Corporation) in Helsinki.
