About

I spent 20 years in clinical medicine before I understood something that troubled me deeply. The physicians doing the most innovative work were rarely the ones shaping the public conversation.Female physicians in integrative and lifestyle medicine are some of the most innovative clinicians in healthcare. They are lifelong learners, continuously seeking new tools and paradigms that move medicine beyond treating disease toward genuine healing and thriving. Their knowledge is hard won, accumulated well into their 40s and 50s alongside thousands of patient care hours, family, and the clinics they sustain. Yet for all that wisdom, the pathways to share it, amplify it, and connect it to the people who need it most have never been built with them in mind. That's why I built Vishuddha, a community and media platform creating the infrastructure female physicians in integrative and lifestyle medicine never had. A space where their voices are amplified, their careers are sustainable, and their exc…

Founder and Ceo, Vishuddha — Community and Media Platform for Female Physicians

Vishuddha · United States

Present

Most platforms for physicians tell them what to do. Vishuddha was built to give them a place to lead. Founded in 2010, Vishuddha is a community and media platform creating the infrastructure female physicians in integrative and lifestyle medicine never had. A space where their voices are amplified, their careers are sustainable, and their hard won clinical wisdom reaches the people who need it most. What makes Vishuddha different is how it was built. Not by a tech company or a marketing agency, but by a physician who leveraged her technology interest. 🔹 Platform and website design and development 🔹 Curriculum design and content creation 🔹 Food and lifestyle photography 🔹 Podcast production, Routes of Healing 🔹 Workshop design and facilitation, Healing the Healers 🔹 Membership community architecture, Embody Collective 🔹 Brand strategy and visual identity 🔹 Mentorship and leadership development for physician-founders The name Vishuddha comes from Sanskrit, the throat chakra, the…

Vishuddha

Present

Medicine has no shortage of expertise. What it has been missing is honest conversation. Routes of Healing is a podcast exploring the intersection of science and soul, featuring stories of transformation from female leaders in integrative and lifestyle medicine. It is the conversation that happens when accomplished women in medicine finally have a space to speak without the constraints of academic language or institutional gatekeeping. Every episode is built around one question: what does healing actually look like when the healer is also human? 🔹 Hosted and produced independently through Vishuddha 🔹 Conversations at the intersection of integrative medicine, leadership, and lived experience 🔹 Created for female physicians and the communities they serve Because some of the most important knowledge in medicine has never made it out of the exam room. Routes of Healing is where it finally does.

Physician-Founder Coach: Helping Female Physicians Build What Comes Next

Chandrima · Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Present

Most physician coaches teach you how to survive medicine differently. Chandrima was built to help you lead beyond it. Named for the Sanskrit word for moon, Chandrima is my private 1:1 coaching and brand building practice for female physicians ready to step into the next chapter of their careers. Whether you are navigating a transition, building something new, or simply trying to reconnect with why you chose medicine in the first place, this is a space built entirely around you. What makes Chandrima different is that I have walked every part of this path myself. I did not come to physician coaching from business school or a corporate career. I came from 30 years of clinical practice, from building a platform from scratch, from learning website design, media production, curriculum development, photography, and brand strategy because the tools female physicians needed simply did not exist. I bring all of that into every engagement. 🔹 Vision and mindset coaching 🔹 Personal brand developm…

Lifestyle Medicine, Culinary Medicine Educator, Food Photographer and Plant-Based Chef

Siri Chand Khalsa, MD

Present

Long before Ayurveda became a wellness trend, I was cooking by its principles. Food has always been central to my practice of medicine. Not as a side interest or a lifestyle add-on, but as a genuine clinical tool. The idea that what we eat determines how we heal, how we age, and how we thrive is not new. It is ancient. And it is finally being recognized by the medical community as the evidence catches up to what healers have known for thousands of years. I started writing and photographing food because my patients kept asking me what I actually cooked. What began as a blog became a body of work spanning original recipes, instructional videos, curriculum development, and one of my most beloved projects, the Plant-Based Thanksgiving series, which drew hundreds of thousands of views and became a touchstone for physicians and families alike looking to bring whole food plant-based principles to one of America's most food-centered traditions. That series eventually grew into the Thanksliving…
