My passion involves small animal surgery and medicine, as I am going to school to become a general practitioner of veterinary medicine. I have over 2,000 hours of animal/veterinary experience before starting veterinary school, in which I was able help rehabilitate abandoned shelter animals, socialize, clean, and find potential new homes. After working at a small veterinary clinic that catered exclusively to dog and cat preventive medicine, I knew I had found my calling. As an upcoming fourth year in veterinary school, I now fully realize how important preventive medicine is, and I am excited to promote wellness in our furry friends.
