About
I started working in the banking field as a M&A specialist for Morgan Stanley. Left MS to work at Akamai Technology, building much of their finance infrastructure and primarily focusing on M&A deals. Attended HBS after Akamai and then joined the Washington Post Company to continue focusing on doing deals at the intersection of media and technology (and related fields). Now lead the Rise of the Rest Seed Fund at DC-based Revolution. We invest in early stage start-ups across the US (except SF, NY, Bos) and work to accelerate early stage capital into incredible entrepreneurs disrupting major sectors in the US economy. Joined Revolution as it was just getting started and have worked across all of the fund platforms (Revolution Growth, Revolution Ventures) and have invested in over 150 early stage start-ups. Specialties: Analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities, deal structuring and negotiation, mergers and acquisition
