About
I am a class of 2023 veterinarian from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences with an interest in small animal medicine. I am currently enrolled into the BluePearl EmERge program, after which I will join the team at BluePearl North Dallas in Lewisville, TX. I am passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and have served as the president of VOICE and the vice president of Pride SVMC, organizations through which I have striven to promote and encourage these ideals throughout the CVM and veterinary medicine in general. I also performed research in the Veterinary Medical Scientist Research Training Program, working with my mentor Dr. Sara Lawhon in her clinical microbiology lab on a project investigating susceptibility of Staphylococcus delphini in the veterinary medical teaching hospital (publication pending).
