I'm so excited to be apart of a versatile, challenging, and rewarding profession. A profession that challenges me daily, continually expands my knowledge base, and allows me to be associated with so many wonderful people. I enjoy using my veterinary skills and education to care for patients and to educate clients all the while fostering the human animal bond. As a veterinarian I have the ability to better not only the lives of my patients but also the lives of my clients. I am currently practicing at Blue Springs Animal Hospital. Here I have special interests in preventative medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and client education. Everyday I am using my skills and education to provide the best care to my patients. I feel truly blessed to be living the dream.

While getting my doctorate in veterinary medicine, I am participating in several college organizations, such as the Student Chapter of the American Medical Association, Veterinary Business Management Association, Student Chapter of the American of Equine Practitioners, and Student Chapter of the Emergency and Critical Care Society. Within these clubs I hold leadership roles such as: Team Leader for Colic Team and Foal Team, and Josh Project Fundraiser Co-Chairman. I also hold the position of Class of 2016 Fundraising Tri-Chair, and am the event organizer for our Guns and Grub fundraiser. I am student ambassador for the College of Veterinary Medicine,too. I am also active outside of the the college by volunteering for local rescues such as: Columbia Second Chance and Dogs Deserve Better.
