I combined my passion for numerical data and product building by creating a platform to: – Build visualisation frameworks for numerical data (e.g. sports, economics) – Automatically generate videos and images and upload to platforms (e.g. YouTube, Instagram) – Optimise the content creation for higher user interaction and monetisation After 12 months of iterations and (in)validating our hypotheses, we decided to discontinue our efforts on this project.

LiquidM is a demand-side platform (DSP) for digital advertising campaigns. I was member of the management team and responsible for: – Product strategy – 3rd party supply relationships The product we built – Attracted hundreds of customers – With thousands of users – Spending millions of dollars every month LiquidM was acquired by a Bertelsmann company in 2016 and I was asked to stay at least until the end of 2018. During this period I was responsible for: – Post merger integration of product and roadmap -> 98% satisfaction from the acquirer’s perspective (Quarterly qualitative and quantitative assessment) – Serve existing customer needs -> Over achieved PMI business targets: ~118% net revenue and ~400% EBIT I left the company after the post merger integration to focus on personal health and finances
Product Manager
I joined madvertise — a mobile marketing company — in 2010 as the first product manager and was responsible for: – Roadmap planning – Managing cross-functional teams of developers, UX/UI designers, marketing managers and data scientists/engineers – Managing the transition from ad serving to real-time bidding (RTB) Our platform attracted: – Thousands of self-service publishers – Millions of dollars per year The media division of madvertise was acquired by MNG group from France in 2013, while we created the technology spin-off LiquidM.

Besides studying computer science, I worked at mindmatics, a full-service mobile marketing provider, taking care of a wide range of tasks, including: – Content curation – Data collection and correlation – Development of internal tools for contract creation and customer reportings I left mindmatics in 2009 to finish my masters thesis (Diplomarbeit).
