In 2001, I joined Animal Hospital Inc. as a kennel assistant. Mid-year 2001 I was trained as veterinary assistant where I assisted in surgery, reception, and as a treatment technician. In 2004 we moved into a new state of the art building where I helped to implement new staff roles, train staff, and become the team leader of the veterinary scribes assisting the doctors, patients, and clients with all their needs. I continued my role within the surgical team, pharmacy technician, and receptionist throughout my years with AHI. In 2010, I began training alongside the practice manager and operation manager with HR duties while completing continuing education surrounding management, HR, and inventory control.
