August has spent over 20 years helping family offices and venture funds invest in companies tackling climate change with clean energy and sustainable technologies. She has a solid understanding of the market developed from reviewing thousands of business plans and performing due diligence, financial modeling, returns analysis and market research for dozens of investments, plus supporting portfolio companies following initial investment. August holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and earned a BS in the double major of Nuclear Engineering and Materials Science Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. When not investing in innovative companies, she enjoys backpacking, racing triathlons, and spending time with her three children.
