About
A little bit about me... I am a proud Boricua, raised in Florida, and have found my new home in California where I plan to stay for some time. To me, there is value in diversity and collaboration, which has sadly been deficient in my "limited" work experience. So, I plan to bridge that gap as I progress in my career. - My "PG-rated" Motto: “I struggled so you don’t have to.” - My Mantra: "Be the change you wish to see in YOUR world;" - My Veterinary career thus far has been centered around prioritizing community, self-directed learning, and putting patient care first. - My pre-veterinary experiences in customer service, low-cost animal clinics, and wildlife rehabilitation have shaped my approach to Veterinary medicine today. Ultimately my goal is to practice with One Health in mind, as I establish a VCPR with each case I see. My personal goals involve specializing in avian and exotics, surgery, and/or pathology.
