Over the last several years, I have served many roles at WSVA in various areas of the hospital. I have worked in the pharmacy/lab interpreting cytology, dispensing medication, preparing laboratory samples, and discussing results with clients. As a Client Service Representative, I facilitated monetary transactions, welcomed clients, and managed phone calls. In the summer of 2018, I participated in the Jordan Crist Memorial Externship program where I completed several sterilization procedures on canine and feline patients under supervision. I have also assisted with a wide variety of other surgeries and worked alongside the doctors during their scheduled appointments.

Worked as a Zookeeper Intern with the Animal Ambassador program, including over 75 different species. Daily tasks included husbandry, developing enrichment, and preparation of diets. I participated in providing informational programming for zoo guests by sharing facts about the animals and answering questions.
