Anatomy Lab Student Hourly

I helped maintain the student anatomy lab specimens at the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. I also assisted in routine safety equipment checks, cleaned lab equipment, and organized the storage units on a weekly basis.

I assisted with research projects that were aimed at elevating the understanding of vector borne diseases and improving public health responses. Specifically, I investigated the use and effectiveness of mosquito control methods in the state of Wisconsin using survey and interview methods.

Auxillary Worker

I worked at the Fairgrounds Family Aquatic Center behind the counter at the concession stands serving food and drinks to pool-goers. I was also responsible for taking admission tickets at the admissions desk and keeping the general area around the pool clean/garbage free.

Animal Care Extern

USDA-APHIS Animal Care

As a participant in the USDA-APHIS Animal Care extern program, I shadowed two Veterinary Medical Officers. The first VMO was in the Madison, WI area and the other was in the Ames, IA area. I observed and assisted the VMOs during routine compliance inspections of animal dealers, brokers, and exhibitors in various parts of these two states.

Learn to Skate Coach
