Overview
Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama, is a historically black university (HBCU) of academic excellence and innovation. Tuskegee distinguishes itself by offering programs of study not found at any other historically black university. Tuskegee also graduates a majority of the nation’s successful African American scientists and engineers. Tuskegee’s programs of study are offered through several distinctive colleges. These include the colleges of: * Architecture and Construction Science * Arts and Sciences * Business and Information Science * Education Tuskegee is also one of the only African American institutions that offers a degree in veterinary science. Consequently, the majority of the world’s African American veterinarians graduated from Tuskegee. Tuskegee also produces many of the nation’s aerospace, chemical and electrical engineers.
