Texas A&M Cardiovascular Pathology Laboratory (CVPath)

The Cardiovascular Pathology (CVP) Laboratory at Texas A&M is a trained team of veterinary and comparative pathologists, engineers, postdoctoral fellows, residents, as well as graduate and undergraduate students recruited to improve standard pathology assessment. Our integrated methodology is used to reduce animal numbers, time, and costs, while improving the precision of results in preclinical and clinical studies. The CVP lab provides pathology laboratory support for Texas A&M and its affiliates. This lab also provides pathology and histology services on a fee-for-service basis to outside investigators and medical device companies. Our mission is to provide innovative, objective pathology support of the utmost quality to improve medical device technologies and subsequently, patients’ lives.
